About the Role We are seeking experienced Full time and Casual Welders, Pipe Fitters, Metal Fabricators, Mechanical Fitters, Electronic Instrument Maintenance Technicians, Pressure Welders, Sheet Metal Workers, Metal Machinists, Mechanical Engineering Technicians, Boilermakers, and Painters to join our team for Workshop and site Work. Welders, Pipe Fitters, Metal Fabricators and Mechanical Fitters must be experienced in both construction and maintenance projects. Pressure Welders must be experienced in welding and repairing pipes. Sponsorship may be available to the right person. Key Responsibilities Equipment repairs such as Lathes, CNC Machining, Flange Facing, Pipe Beveller. Skills and Experience Australian Recognised Trade Certificate Experience working within this industry Must pass a Medical and Drug Screen Be reliable, punctual and hard working Clear understanding of Safety Regulations & Safe Work Practices Ability to work unsupervised Ability to pass a pre-employment medical Working at Heights Confined Space Elevated Work Platform Why Work at Ahrens We are continually evolving and investing in our people and facilities to achieve satisfying outcomes.
