Job Description The Role NextSense has an exciting opportunity within the Fundraising and Development team to develop and manage the Mid-Value Donor Program as well as the Life Member and Life Governor Program at NextSense. Reporting to the Head of Individual Giving, this newly created Mid-Value Donor Manager Role will be based out of our new centre of innovation at Macquarie University. This role will be a Permanent Full-Time position, remunerated within a range of $103,086 - $115,569 base salary, plus superannuation, salary packaging and other benefits, dependant on the experience and skills of the successful applicant. This vital role will: Collaborate with the Head of Individual Giving to develop and implement strategies for securing and growing income from existing and potential Mid-Value (MV) donors. Research and identify opportunities to cultivate new relationships and grow the MV portfolio, whilst strengthening and re-engaging existing donors. Implement multi-channel campaigns, events, and supporter journeys to build strong donor relationships and ensure effective engagement with existing and potential MV donors. Perform data analysis to identify donor uplift opportunities, presenting insights to key stakeholders. Manage and steward the Life Member / Life Governor program ensuring that this provides opportunities for donors to engage with NextSense and our people via events, tours, and other experiences to connect with clients through storytelling and other communications. Develop the necessary material to grow the MV Donor portfolio, including strong case(s) for support. Contribute to the development and implementation of the Individual Giving strategy and budget, ensuring alignment with fundraising goals, and provide regular reporting on income, expenditure, and the status of the MV portfolio and activities. Build and maintain strong networking relationships across the sector, whilst ensuring internal cohesion within the Fundraising & Development team and the broader organisation. Grow donor cohorts and identify segments for uplift to Major Donor and Bequest portfolios. Skills and Experience Required : Relevant experience in the Not-For-Profit sector, within a fundraising environment Ability to develop and execute fundraising program strategies Demonstrated experience in identifying, creating and driving impactful supporter journeys Experience and capability in developing and running successful supporter engagement events Well-developed influencing and communication skills You are obliged to become familiar with, and comply with child protection policies and legislation, as amended from time to time. Clear criminal record check. Ability to travel interstate from time-to-time. Tertiary and/or post-graduate qualification or equivalent experience in campaign management, donor retention, fundraising or similar discipline. Experience in business development and relationship management. An innovative, flexible and creative mindset. Good financial analysis skills with demonstrated experience in budget management, pipeline management, reporting, and commercial acumen. A strategic problem solver with the ability to think critically, laterally, and analytically. A growth mindset and the drive to constantly learn and develop.
