Middle Leader: Learning Enhancement - St John Fisher College, BRACKEN RIDGE Middle Leader: Learning Enhancement Permanent | Full Time Commencement negotiable $84,078 - $121,093 per annum + Middle Leader Allowance + Super (commensurate with experience) We are seeking an experienced and innovative Support Teacher Inclusive Education (ST-IE) for a full-time continuing position who can also fill the role of Middle Leader – Learning Enhancement (Tier2c) within our College for the current triennium concluding end of 2026 with possibility of continuation. This person should be passionate about leading a learning enhancement team to achieve the best educational outcomes for students across a full range of abilities and needs.The purpose of this Middle Leader role is to work with the College Leadership Team and both Curriculum and Pastoral Middle Leaders to promote teaching and learning practices that cater for all levels of academic ability.The Curriculum Leader – Learning Enhancement works in collaborative partnership to support a whole school commitment to inclusive practices and the effective learning and teaching of all students.About the role - As a dynamic and innovative member of our school community, in collaboration with students, parents, teachers, leaders and allied health professionals, you will support students across the full range of abilities and needs, to meet specific learning needs. In particular you will:Design and implement inclusive and effective teaching and learning strategies to engage and improve education outcomes of supported students Collaborate with your peers to develop and implement quality curriculum programs and appropriate pedagogy Assess, provide feedback and report on student learning Work with the school leadership team and colleagues to contribute to the professional life of the school Proactively engage with professional learning to enhance student learning outcomes aligned to The Alice Springs (Mparntwe) goals for young Australians Ensure that the teachings and values of the Catholic Church form a foundation for learning and teaching. About you - To be successful in this role you will bring relevant qualifications and contemporary teaching experience as well as:Strong literacy, numeracy and digital literacy practices plus experience using the Australian Curriculum in a flexible manner to meet the needs of a diverse student population Demonstrated competence against the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers across professional knowledge, practice and engagement. Know and understand the Disability Discrimination Act and apply Disability Standards for Education Demonstrated application of the NCCD model as part of a whole-school approach to supporting students with a disability Proven ability to oversee and deliver a range of processes, including enrolment transitions, and mapping and planning functions to support inclusive education practices Commitment to engage with colleagues, students, and parents/carers to achieve the best outcomes Have a commitment to safeguarding children, including conducting Working With Children (WWC) and background referencing for all persons who will engage in direct and regular involvement with children and young people and/or adults-at-risk.
