Position Description: Midlevel or Senior Mechanical Engineer Location: North Gold Coast QLD Employment Type: Full-time, permanent Salary: up to $130,000 + Super Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated mid-level Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, analysis, and manufacturing processes, contributing to the design of mechanical systems. You will work collaboratively with a cross-disciplinary team, ensuring our products meet the required standards of quality and performance. Key Responsibilities: Lead mechanical design for new product development projects from concept through production Work with other team members to establish comprehensive specifications Drive product development projects to completion on time and on budget Create detailed 3D solid modeling of parts and assemblies using SolidWorks Build and test prototype devices Analyze defects to root cause and provide corrective actions Participate in engineering process improvement projects Contribute to design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives Perform other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: SolidWorks PDM experience (highly regarded) Experience designing sheet metal parts and assemblies Familiarity with manufacturing methods such as casting, forming, stamping, and extrusion Product design and development experience with injection molding from concept to production Understanding of plastic materials and plastic part design and assembly Knowledge of machine shop practices Strong understanding of material properties Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university 5+ years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer using SolidWorks Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders Please reach out to for more info #J-18808-Ljbffr
