Agile Mining Services is a privately owned company providing specialist technical, mining, and mineral processing services to the South Australian iron ore industry. Our operations are located near Coober Pedy. About the Opportunity: Agile Mining Services is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor (Mobile) to lead a team of tradespeople in the mechanical maintenance and repair of mobile plant equipment, including CAT, SANDVIK, ATLAS COPCO, and HITACHI machinery. This role is primarily based at the Peculiar Knob Site , but occasional work at other Agile Mining Services locations in South Australia may be required. Key Responsibilities: Supervise mobile maintenance personnel to ensure effective maintenance of mobile plant and ancillary equipment, meeting business targets and goals. Ensure all duties are carried out in a cost-effective manner. Maintain machinery to high operational standards. Monitor, mentor, and coach team members, providing necessary training and development. Lead and support the team in delivering work safely according to the OEM Standard while meeting project schedule and within budget. What We Are Looking For: Up to 5 years of post-Diesel Fitter experience and 5-10 years of experience in a heavy mining workshop, with exposure to senior-level responsibilities. Proven experience leading a mobile maintenance team in a mining environment. Strong knowledge and experience with heavy earthmoving equipment maintenance and repair, particularly CAT & HITACHI machinery. Demonstrated leadership and team management skills. Strong understanding of HSET (Health, Safety, Environment, and Training) practices and commitment to safety. Excellent communication, organisational, and planning skills.
