Job Description
The company A well regarded business in the finance sector. They have grown rapidly over the last 5 years, and continue to grow. They are based in the heart of Macquarie Park and are close to the metro station. Great offices, but they also offer plenty of scope to WFH (the role would start out a 3:2 hybrid, but over time would become more a 2:3). The role The business is undertaking a major infrastructure uplift, and the EUC is a key facet of that. They are very much an O365/Azure shop, but until now no one has really owned the desktop environment. So they want to start leveraging Intune much harder, deploy autopilot, tighten up their cybersecurity, better manage & control application packaging & distribution, and automate what they can. This person would own all of that. You'd also be involved in upskilling the helpdesk team to ensure they are well equipped to deal with technical issues that come up. This is a high visibility role. You'd be a key contact for both business stakeholders and the IT group for any issues related to the desktop environment. Responsibilities Own the desktop environment, leveraging Intune, deploying autopilot, and tightening cybersecurity. Manage application packaging & distribution and automate processes. Upskill the helpdesk team for technical issue resolution. Qualifications Strong Intune experience. Great scripting skills. Experience with Essential 8 and/or NIST. Good understanding of autopilot. Strong communication skills and a team player. What's in it for you?
