Our client who is a leading manufacturer of electric motors & generators is seeking to appoint a Modification Workshop Supervisor to join their team at their facility in Melbourne's South-eastern suburbs. If you have a strong mechanical aptitude & supervisory experience, we would love to hear from you! Benefits: Great Team Environment National Company Permanent Full-time Key Responsibilities: Responsible for the smooth running of the modifications workshop Scheduling of work to meet the customers & sales force requirements Supervision & allocation of people resources in the workshop Sourcing, storage, & handling of all materials & stocks for the modifications area Final inspection of the finished product prior to dispatch Input & output of jobs into computer system Organizing job allocation to Mod shop Controlling & requesting spare parts Attending spare parts requests to all branches Control, organize & ordering consumables for the workshop Assisting in modifications when necessary Inspection of motors under warranty / Goods return note (GRN) Provide assistance in the warehouse when required Keep the staff trained & the proper records updated Assist with company stock takes Ensure WHS & delivery standards are upheld Skills & Experience Required: Sound & thorough product industry & market knowledge Essential - mechanical aptitude Ability to adhere to deadlines Ability to follow instructions Clear understanding of OH&S procedures & practices Strong verbal & written communication skills Strong team building & management skills Qualifications Required: Full Australian work rights Technical qualification relevant to the mechanical field or equivalent experience Driver's licence If you are looking for a great opportunity in a position that offers longevity and possess the skills & experience required, please apply now or contact us directly: Office: 03 9088 6970 | Email: Please note that you need to reside in Australia to be considered for this position. #J-18808-Ljbffr
