NXT GIG is looking for a knowledgeable and motivated Mortgage Broker / Lending Specialist to join our dynamic financial services team. In this role, you will provide expert guidance to clients seeking mortgage solutions, helping them navigate the lending process and secure financing that best meets their needs. You will be responsible for assessing client financial situations, comparing loan products, and providing recommendations based on their unique circumstances. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the mortgage market, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for helping clients achieve their homeownership goals. Responsibilities Consult with clients to gather financial information and assess their mortgage needs Research and recommend appropriate mortgage products from various lenders to suit client requirements Guide clients through the mortgage application process, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately Negotiate loan terms and rates with lenders on behalf of clients Provide ongoing support and communication throughout the lending process, from pre-approval to closing Stay up to date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and market conditions to better serve clients Support marketing efforts to generate new leads and expand the client base Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field Proven experience as a Mortgage Broker or Lending Specialist Thorough understanding of mortgage products, lending regulations, and the mortgage application process Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills Strong negotiation and communication skills Ability to assess client financial situations and provide tailored lending solutions Proficiency in using mortgage-related software and tools Seniority level Entry level Employment type Full-time Job function Finance and Sales Industries IT Services and IT Consulting #J-18808-Ljbffr
