We now have an exciting opportunity for a Multidisciplinary Training Team Leader to join our team at the Murtupuni Centre for Rural and Remote Health in Mount Isa. ABOUT THE ROLE In this key role, you will lead a diverse team, cultivating a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and guide the delivery of high-quality student placements and site coordination for the Rural Health Multidisciplinary Training Program (RHMT). Through effective supervision of resources, processes, and service delivery outcomes, you will ensure healthcare professionals gain the skills and knowledge needed to excel in rural and remote settings. QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE To succeed in this role, you must possess exceptional people leadership skills, a deep understanding of rural and remote healthcare dynamics, and a passion for transforming lives through education. Proven administration experience, preferably in a medical education or training environment, and a proven track record of leading multidisciplinary teams are essential. ABOUT THE MURTUPUNI CENTRE FOR RURAL AND REMOTE HEALTH The Murtupuni Centre for Rural and Remote Health (MCRRH) is a federally funded nationally networked University Department of Rural Health with additional funded vertical programs and key performance indicators set by the Department of Health specifically focused on health workforce. Located in Mount Isa with nodes in Cloncurry and Longreach, MCRRH serves the large geographic region of outback northern Queensland. As a small academic department with a broad range of responsibilities within the rural and remote health and education sector, our mission is to lead excellence in remote, rural and Indigenous health in outback Queensland.
