Connect APAC have been exclusively engaged by a leading Australian Food Manufacturer in their search for a National Account Manager (QSR) for their Sydney based team. Reporting into the National Business Manager (QSR), this role will be tasked with managing a number of key accounts including; McDonalds, Schnitz and Craveable Brands. The role would be ideal for an existing National Account Manager or even an ambitious National Account Executive/Key Account Manager who is keen to take the next step. Key Responsibilities: Efficiently managing the day-to-day requests and requirements of the accounts in your area of responsibility. Overseeing the stock through the various sales channels, including quality control of presentation onsite/online. Create relationships within prospects at every level. Engage with senior decision makers and influencers and be comfortable when discussing the growth of our strategy and solutions. Own the customer relationship by setting the strategic and tactical plans for assigned customers and become the trusted advisor to the customer for better business outcomes. Providing excellent internal and external stakeholder service and communication. Develop a solid understanding of your customers business and operations and understand their current and future market strategies. Build and maintain strong business relationships at all user levels as well as develop strong networks with internal stakeholders. Strategic Account actions (set joint business plans with customers for next 6-12 months). Generate and share data driven insights. Develop category offer in line with market trends and profitability targets. Build pipeline and understand totality of sales process and sales velocity in order to hit sales goals. Key Requirements: National Account Manager or National Account Executive/Key Account Manager experience within an FMCG/Consumer Goods environment. Exposure to the QSR or broader Food Service channel essential. Track record of building profitable relationships with key accounts. Ability to collaborate well with different functions (Marketing, Category, Supply Chain, Finance etc). Analytical with ability to interpret and utilise sales data.
