We have over 240 employees, and specialise in a variety of commercial sectors including large scale multi residential, retail, offices, health, industrial and aged care. A bit about the role In this role you will lead Hacer’s EHS team of 5 including project based EHS Coordinators and an office based Administrator. You will report into our Construction Director and work closely with our Quality, Legal and our Pre Construction & Site based teams. The responsibilities of your role will include but are not limited to: Provide operational HSE direction and support across all Hacer projects Support the implementation of the EHSQ systems strategies and management systems in line with Hacer objectives Provide specialist EHS advice and input to construction teams during tendering, project planning & delivery Review specific high risk planned works to ensure compliance with HSE regulations Oversee accuracy and quality of incident investigations, including actions to prevent future occurrences You will also be required to deliver EHS Education sessions to the business as well as acting as a mentor to our Graduates and site based teams. The role is primarily to be based at our head office with car parking provided. A bit about you You will have: Tertiary qualifications in HSE related field Experience in a similar role in the Construction industry Strong knowledge of HSE legislation, regulations and best practices Proven experience in developing and implementing safety strategies Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills A strong work ethic If you are ready for a new challenge and to join a builder with an exciting pipeline of work and opportunity, then we would love to hear from you.
