The Role: As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a passionate and experienced National Facilities and Maintenance Manager to join our team. Based in either Adelaide or Melbourne, this role ensures our business assets are maintained to the highest standards across all OTR brands, including Reddy Express (formerly known as Coles Express), HappyWash, QSR, and Krispy Kreme. Responsibilities: Oversee proactive and reactive maintenance processes, manage budgets, and build strong partnerships with service providers to uphold our ‘We Never Close’ promise. Build and maintain strong relationships with store teams and SSO stakeholders, leveraging feedback to develop improvement plans and drive competitive advantage. Manage P&L budgets of $80–100 million annually, designing cost-efficient strategies to optimise spending, meet targets, and deliver exceptional outcomes. Ensure timely invoice processing, robust contractor performance reviews, and accountability for KPIs, while continuously monitoring and reporting SLAs to achieve agreed timelines. Lead proactive maintenance programs, spares management, and site visits to deliver high standards, identify cost-saving opportunities, and future-proof the business with strategic systems and asset lifecycle planning. About you: Proven Experience: Extensive experience in facilities and maintenance management, preferably within a multi-site retail or QSR environment. Financial Acumen: Strong P&L management experience, with a track record of designing and implementing cost-efficient strategies to manage budgets of $80M+. Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of maintenance processes, contractor management, asset lifecycle planning, and proactive/reactive maintenance programs. Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and coach high-performing teams, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence. Stakeholder Engagement: Exceptional relationship-building skills, with experience working collaboratively across multiple departments and managing contractor partnerships.
