The National Fleet Manager will enjoy working “hands-on" and will thrive in a fast-paced and innovative organisation. We’re looking for an innovative, results-driven individual. The role will be based in Sydney with hybrid working. This is a key role reporting directly into the Commercial Manager, Fleet & Pre-Owned. You’ll be responsible for fleet sales, relationship building, and activities in the fleet segment. You will use the digital sales process and systems to maximise sales and build a consistent order bank. Our client is driving change in the fleet market with a truly unique approach to customer centricity, collaboration and partnership. A successful candidate will know the traditional Fleet market and be keen to improve customer experience on every level, from driver to fleet manager to leasing provider. What you’ll do Manage the corporate sales channel nationally, focusing on Fleet Management Organisations, Global Key Accounts, Small-to-Large Sized Enterprises, and Government / Diplomat business Work closely with Retailer Partners to maximise fleet sales opportunities Develop fleet campaign strategies and programs to build the brand profile and drive sales objectives Own, develop and manage existing relationships and build new ones with key stakeholders, in pursuance of new, strategically aligned partnerships Leveraging HQ Fleet expertise, become the local subject-matter-expert of the brand Fleet sales tools, including new and renewal contracting Collaborate with HQ Fleet and the broader Australia team (HQ staff and Spaces staff) Budget planning and forecasting for weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly sales volume and profitability targets Take a hands-on approach with day-to-day customer operations and the interaction between Customer, Fleet Companies, and Retail partners You and your skills Passionate and enthusiastic about sustainability and electric cars Strong communication and influencing skills: willing collaboration and a can-do attitude will be key to succeeding in our small and efficient team Results-driven individual with a dynamic, solution-oriented mindset Excellent written, numerical and verbal communication skills Enthusiasm for testing new ideas and ways of working Experience with Salesforce would be an advantage Ability to build and maintain strong relationships, not only across teams but also with customers, dealers and clients Desire to test new ideas and approaches and deliver best practice processes What's on offer A competitive salary package, including Company vehicle A dynamic workplace Opportunity to develop a new premium brand in the fleet segment Hybrid working arrangements National responsibilities, including travel Eligibility: Only Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered for this position.
