ABOUT THE ROLE: The National Fuel Logistics Manager leads all operational aspects of the fuel supply chain from terminal to EG sites nationally. This is inclusive of terminal and site access, transport management, inventory management, delivery defects and stock-related concerns such as fuel availability and quality. You will play a key role in ensuring that operations are aligned with site-specific goals, emphasising safety, quality, timely execution, and cost efficiency. RESPONSIBILITIES IN A SNAPSHOT Reporting directly to the National Fuel Operations Manager, you will: Build and manage relationships with strategic partners to drive successful outcomes, while identifying continuous improvement opportunities. Uphold expected occupational health and safety standards in alignment with legislative obligations, and actively investigate fuel delivery related incidents. Maintain systems and reports used to manage terminal and fuel transport partner performance and compliance. Work with all stakeholders to manage fuel inventory holdings and minimise stock-related disruptions to the network and end customers. Support and coordinate emergency responses for fuel-related incidents. Coordinate administrative tasks inclusive of vendor payments, database maintenance and transport rate review approvals. Lead the timely investigation and response to customer queries regarding fuel quality, calibration and other related matters. Support in the audit, tendering, negotiating, and review of fuel transport partner contracts. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? Previous experience in managing carrier contracts and relationships. Experience in fuel supply chain scheduling, dangerous goods, and/or logistics is desirable. Exposure to terminals, bulk fuel transport, and wet stock management at retail sites is desirable. Expertise in managing inventory levels, product quality and availability. Competence in identifying, managing, and mitigating risks and coordinating emergency responses. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders and government authorities. Capability to analyse data and trends to make informed recommendations and improvements. Availability to be on call and support outside of standard business operating hours. WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?
