The Job We’re on the lookout for a National Support Manager to join our Operations team. This full time position is based in our Richmond office as part of a wider team. In this role, you will provide Operational Excellence to the business through efficient and effective management of the Support Team and a comprehensive knowledge of hardware and software used across the VMO network. Some key responsibilities include: Provide expertise and guidance on the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting VMO hardware and software. Lead, mentor, and motivate support staff, ensuring they have the resources and training necessary to perform effectively. Serve as the primary point of contact for complex technical inquiries related to both hardware and software. Ensure that the support team is knowledgeable about VMO’s hardware and software products, including technical specifications, common issues, and solutions. Manage team resources to ensure there is sufficient coverage for VMOs advertised support hours and any afterhours work. Who are we looking for? You will be a fast thinker able to work to deadlines and be methodical in nature. We are also ideally looking for someone with: Ability to understand and work with varying software suites. A strong understanding of IT/AV hardware and the ability to troubleshoot issues with related hardware. Ability to balance and prioritize tasks. Strong and effective communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Excellent customer service skills. Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to develop and inspire a team. Experience in Computer Hardware & Software (desirable). Passionate about technology and its applications (desirable). Why VMO?
