Job Description
New Product Development (NPD) Project Manager NOJA Power Switchgear manufactures and supplies globally a range of microprocessor based, intelligent medium voltage switchgear providing, control, measurement and communication capabilities. Sophisticated Windows, mobile and cloud applications are used to configure, control and communicate with the switchgear. We are seeking a Project Manager with experience managing the development of new products from specification through to delivery into the market. The successful applicant will enjoy being part of an organization taking Australian technology to the world. Key Responsibilities: Create project plans and critical paths. Take ownership of projects from project feasibility stage, delivery and post launch review. Lead project review meetings at defined stages throughout the process. Manage KPIs of project delivery to ensure targets are met. Proactively manage potential conflicts. Build and maintain relationships with business representatives and stakeholders and act as the primary point of contact for the project. Track and report project deliverables, including plans, risks, assumptions, issues and deliverables. Identify and escalate risk and issues through defined NPD governance processes. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation including work templates and meeting outputs. Experience: Thorough understanding of project management practices and frameworks directly related to physical product development (Hardware with sophisticated software). Proven track record in managing the delivery of multiple types of projects. Solid experience in project planning tools and critical path management at project level. Sound knowledge of problem solving and facilitation techniques. Ability to deliver accurate and concise reports regarding project(s) status. Liaising with internal and external stakeholders in a technical capacity. Good documentation, communication, analytical & resolution skills. Qualifications: You will have a degree in engineering or related. Responsibility: You will have the maturity, focus and intensity to manage your priorities and projects, while providing a reasonable degree of transparency and progress to the R&D Director.
