We are seeking an experienced and driven New Truck Sales Manager to join the sales team at Major Motors in the Forrestfield, WA 6058 location. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in driving sales and achieving the company's growth objectives. This is a high-volume, leadership role reporting to the General Sales Manager. You will manage a team of 10 New Truck Sales Consultants plus additional staff, ensuring seamless sales operations and exceptional customer satisfaction. With a strong pipeline of sales and a new model arriving mid-year, this is a very exciting time to join Australia’s number 1 truck brand and at a top dealership. Position has only become available due to retirement. What you'll be doing Manage and lead a team of new truck sales representatives to consistently meet and exceed sales targets Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics to drive new truck sales Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify sales opportunities Provide coaching, training, and mentorship to the sales team to enhance their skills and performance Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute targeted sales campaigns Maintain strong relationships with key customers and prospects to secure new business Monitor sales performance and provide regular reporting to senior management Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction What we're looking for Minimum 5 years of experience in new truck sales or a related sales management role Strong stock management and KPI-tracking skills Excellent understanding of the commercial vehicle industry and the competitive landscape Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making Excellent leadership, coaching, and people management skills Proficient in data analysis, forecasting, and business reporting Strong negotiation and customer relationship management skills Passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience and driving business growth Experience with Dealer Management Systems (Titan) and Microsoft Office Relevant qualifications in sales, marketing or a related field would be advantageous A current WA Yard Managers License What we offer At Major Motors, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment for our employees.
