Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network, Gawler Health Service - Emergency Department Total Indicative Remuneration: MD2 $447,002 to $581,616 p.a. Permanent Full-time position, working over a 7 day roster. Note: Total Indicative Remuneration (TIRP) includes award salary, managerial allowance, remote call allowance, professional development, A&R Allowance & Super if applicable. Overview Exciting opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Emergency Medicine Consultant to ensure the delivery of comprehensive, effective and efficient emergency and medical care. Providing medical services to Emergency Department (ED) patients at the Gawler Health Service, you will have the opportunity to perform a wide range of procedures. You will provide leadership to the clinical team, and facilitate effective clinical review mechanisms and quality improvement processes. Delivering and participating in relevant teaching programs for medical staff is also expected. About the Role Mater Health is seeking a Clinical Director of Emergency Medicine to join Mater Hospital Brisbane. Reporting to the Director of Critical Care Services, this role will focus on effective leadership, strategic development, and management for the Department of Emergency Medicine. This role leads the Emergency Medicine department, with responsibilities encompassing all domains of the quadruple aim – outcomes, stewardship, consumer experience, and Mater People. This role is both a clinical leader to the team, but also collaborates with other Mater leaders, and is Mater’s reference point for matters of policy, practice, outcomes, and risk in the clinical specialty across all Mater Hospitals. Salary: Commensurate with experience plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
