About the Role Part to Full Time Position of Leadership POL 1 Numeracy Leader P-6 (18 periods/cycle) + Numeracy Support (17 periods/cycle) + some classroom teaching Fixed Term commencing Term 2, 2025 or earlier by negotiation to the end of the 2026 School year This role provides the opportunity to drive excellence in numeracy education, collaborate with teachers to improve numeracy instruction, use data-driven insights to identify areas for growth, create a positive and engaging numeracy culture that builds student confidence and enthusiasm for learning. About You A four-year teaching qualification or equivalent and eligibility for Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration with education. Qualifications in Numeracy Intervention highly desirable. A working knowledge of the MACS Vision for Instruction would be an advantage. Experience working with primary students is essential. Hold a Post Graduate degree in educational management / leadership / student wellbeing / administration or relevant area or working towards this would be desirable. Experience providing a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel empowered to reach their full potential. Demonstrated capacity to foster independence, resilience and responsibility in students. Demonstrated ability to lead teams in designing and implementing appropriate programs and curriculum.
