The opportunity: Queensland Health provides world-class public health care in Australia, and we are now recruiting experienced Mental Health Nurses - Australia Wide! We have opportunities in a variety of settings: Inpatient settings including Adolescent, Adult or Older People Units Community Mental Health Services – Acute Care Teams (intake), Continuing Care Teams (community-based services), Homeless Health Outreach Teams Child Youth Mental Health Services Alcohol Other Drug Services Community Care Units Forensic Mental Health and other speciality roles Queensland Health has a total of 16 hospital and health services, in metropolitan, regional, rural and remote, and coastal areas across the state. The roles available will be widespread across 16 Health Services which include: Cairns and Hinterland Children's Health Central West Darling Downs Gold Coast Mackay North West South West Sunshine Coast Torres and Cape Wide Bay Working for Queensland Health provides a working environment which embraces professional development, builds capabilities, provides roles with variety and flexibility, supports staff to maximise their health and wellbeing and encourages work/life balance.
