The Position: This opportunity is for an Unaccredited registrar in Obstetrics and Gynaecology for an August 2024 intake. Join a team of 10 Resident Medical Officers and 10 Registrars. Variety of experience in all aspects of Obstetrics & Gynaecology. This position reports to the Director of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Under the supervision of the relevant consultants, initiate, maintain, and be responsible for the clinical care of patients. Conduct day to day review of patients. Ensure comprehensive, accurate, and concise medical records are maintained for patients. Contribute to quality patient care by participation in case planning which includes appropriate pre-admission planning, in-hospital care, and discharge planning. Maintain good communications with all areas and disciplines within the health service and with local medical practitioners to ensure the smooth and effective operation of the hospital. Eligibility: Candidates are required to meet the position and qualification requirements. Provide a current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check. Proof of vaccination status (includes but is not limited to COVID-19 and seasonal influenza vaccination compliance requirement). Current registration or suitable for registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Highly developed and up to date clinical and theoretical knowledge. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to build relationships with people at all levels and work collaboratively with a diverse team. Experience in O&G.
