Job Description Our service based inMelton South is looking for a passionate and caring Educator for children in our before and after school care capacity. This is apermanent part-time position at 19.5 hours per week all year round - the perfect balance! Shift times will be Thursday - Friday 7:00 – 09:00 AM (Rise Then Shine Program) and Monday - Friday 3:00pm - 6:00pm (Stay and Play Program). Must be currently undergoing or working towards an approved Diploma Qualification as per ACECQA. About the role Working in a team of Educators, you will have support of a Coordinator to seamlessly run before and after school care for children aged 5-12 years: Facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into! Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents Work with a team of skilled Educators onsite Who are we looking for? We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have: Enjoy working with kids Strong and clear communication Team player with a desire to become a service leader Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it!) and a state check for working with children Obtained or studying towards a relevant level qualification to work with kids in OSHC per ACECQA What's in it for you?
