As an Occupational Therapist with Darling Downs Health, your day will be dynamic and fulfilling. You'll start by collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to plan and deliver comprehensive clinical services to patients in various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and community environments. You'll engage in meaningful interactions with patients, utilizing your negotiation, consultation, and advocacy skills to optimize their care. Throughout the day, you'll manage your workload efficiently, participate in quality improvement activities, and contribute to the development of clinical procedures. You'll also provide supervision and mentorship to students and less experienced staff, fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.
