We are a department of approximately 50 clinicians with varied skillsets and knowledge working with acute and rehabilitation patients in inpatient, outpatient and community settings. For example, all OTs are involved in department portfolios and quality projects. What you'll be doing This is a temporary full-time position within our department working as part of the inpatient team providing early rehabilitation to patients across all acute clinical wards. This position will also engage in the level 1/ 2 rotation program due to commence in September 2025. Essential Criteria: Registration: AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist Qualification: Degree or Diploma recognised by AAOT-NSW Selection Criteria: Demonstrated clinical experience in an acute care and rehabilitation setting including experience in discharge planning, home assessment, home modifications and equipment prescription. Extensive experience with patients in neurosurgical, general surgical and medical units. Skills in planning, implementing and evaluating intervention programmes. Ability to work both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team. Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated effective time management and organisational skills. Commitment to ongoing education, professional development, quality improvement and research. Current drivers licence.
