Occupational Therapist and Allied Health Assistants About the role Fit Effects Allied Health is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Liverpool and surrounding suburbs. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our clients regain their independence and improve their quality of life through evidence-based occupational therapy interventions. This is a full-time position, with opportunities for career growth and development within our team. There are roles for Allied Health Assistants to apply also. What you'll be doing Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify clients' functional abilities, strengths, and areas for improvement Developing and implementing individualised treatment plans to address clients' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs Providing a range of occupational therapy interventions, such as activity and environmental modifications, assistive technology recommendations, and therapeutic exercises Collaborating with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated and client-centred approach to care Documenting client progress and maintaining accurate records in accordance with professional and organisational standards Diverse Caseload – Work across a range of clients including NDIS participants, pediatrics, and adults. What we're looking for Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Occupational Therapist (New Grads welcome to apply) Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills to effectively assess and treat a diverse range of client needs Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice Flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage a varied caseload What we offer At Fit Effects Allied Health, we are dedicated to supporting our employees' professional and personal growth.
