Position Summary: CareSquared is seeking a passionate and experienced Team Manager - Occupational Therapy to lead and manage a team of occupational therapists within our adult services. As the Team Manager, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality therapy services, ensuring excellent care coordination and maintaining exceptional service standards. You will play an essential role in mentoring and developing therapists, helping them to achieve optimal outcomes for our clients while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and support a team of occupational therapists, ensuring effective coordination and communication within the team. Provide regular supervision, feedback, and performance reviews to staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth. Support and guide the team to achieve high-quality therapy outcomes for clients, ensuring the delivery of person-centred care. Service Delivery & Client Care: Oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of high-quality occupational therapy services for adults, tailored to individual needs. Manage a caseload and ensure therapy is aligned with clients' goals, addressing their specific challenges and enhancing their daily functioning. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, families, and caregivers to optimise treatment outcomes and ensure continuity of care. Maintain a client-centred approach, ensuring all services are personalised and adapted to the unique needs of each individual. Quality & Compliance: Ensure that all occupational therapy services meet professional, ethical, and regulatory standards. Stay up-to-date with current best practices in occupational therapy and incorporate them into team practice. Monitor and maintain the quality of client documentation, reports, and progress notes in line with company and industry standards. Ensure compliance with all legal, insurance, and regulatory requirements. Professional Development: Lead the development and training of the occupational therapy team, fostering skill development and encouraging ongoing professional education. Identify opportunities for professional growth and support staff in accessing continued learning. Stay current with new treatments, techniques, and innovations in occupational therapy for adults. Operational Management: Work with other team managers and leadership to optimise resource management, including scheduling, caseload management, and service delivery. Assist in developing and implementing strategic initiatives to improve client outcomes and service efficiency. Contribute to the creation and review of policies and procedures to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a practising occupational therapist, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role. Proven experience working with adult populations, including those with complex needs (preferred). Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a team. Experience in service coordination, case management, and client-centred therapy. Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and complex caseloads. Experience in programme development or quality improvement initiatives. Prior experience working within a multidisciplinary team environment. Knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and other relevant frameworks.
