At this time, Mazzei Electric Ltd. is hiring an Office Administrator/Receptionist. The successful candidate could be based out of our Victoria office . We are looking for a candidate that is responsible for managing the day-to-day administrative operations of the office, while providing support to other areas of the business. The wage band for this position is between $40,000-$45,000.00 per year. AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: Answer all phone calls in a professional and friendly manner, transferring calls and taking messages as needed. Manage office supplies inventory and office purchasing. Coordinate office cleaners, maintenance requests etc. Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence (emails, mail, couriers). Maintain and organize filing systems, both electronic and paper. Assist with IT setups for cellphones, laptops, printers, etc. Track and issue gas cards. Provide administrative support for fleet maintenance and tracking. Handle customer cheque and cash deposits. Assist in editing, reviewing and updating process and training documents. Cross training to assist other departments such as HR, health and safety, service, and accounting during peak time or staff absences. Other duties as required. Qualifications: One year of experience in an administrative role required. Technologically savvy and able to navigate cellphone, laptops and printer setups. Diploma or certificate in administration an asset. Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication, both verbal and written. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Intermediate MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel). Apply today by responding to this ad.
