The Opportunity A rewarding opportunity exists for a dedicated Service Coordinator to join our team and support the Aveo Domaine Retirement Living community, located in Doncaster, VIC. In this role, you will be a true 'all-rounder' within the village, providing service to residents and responding to any incidents & queries. You'll be a friendly and reliable team member that enjoys a high level of customer/resident interaction. Our retirement villages are always full of excitement & activities so you will work across the entire community completing different tasks to ensure the operational needs of the village are met. As we roster our communities 24/7, we are looking for someone with flexible work arrangements who can be available to stay in our village overnight and attend to the needs of the community Work Arrangements This is a Permanent Part-time position, working either: Monday to Friday: Thursday (7:00am - 10:00am) Saturday and Sunday (7:00am - 12:00pm) Key Responsibilities Provide support and coverage to our cafe & kitchen staff to ensure a smooth lunch and/or dinner service Provide general admin and concierge services to residents and assist with any resident requests Be the first responder to any village issues that arise including emergency calls, safety & security issues and providing first aid where needed Coordinate fun, social and inclusive activities for the residents Complete general domestic cleaning of apartments or common areas Be flexible with rostering and shift arrangements as we staff our communities 24 hours a day Requirements Experience in any customer-facing roles highly desired (e.g. hospitality, retail, aged care, cleaning or administration) A warm & friendly personality that has the ability to work autonomously Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (required or be willing to obtain prior to employment) Current Police Check Certificate (required, but if you do not possess, we can complete for you) Current COVID-19 Vaccinations up-to-date (required) What We Offer $27.98 per hour + relevant Aged Care Award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances + superannuation Enjoy a rotating roster with the potential to increase hours to cover annual and sick leave Employee Referral Program, earning you up to $500 Be part of a friendly and supportive team in a wonderful community Further career opportunities and development (develop into an Admin Assistant or Assistant Community Manager and more) Free Employee Assistance Program About Us As a leader in retirement living, with 30 years' experience, Aveo provides the stability and confidence to try new things and keep innovating.
