Operations Coordinator - Service & Maintenance Technician – Car Stackers About Us Quantum Commercial Solutions has built a strong reputation throughout the multi-residential, commercial and industrial property maintenance industry, providing expert service across a range of remedial and preventative maintenance solutions. With growing demand for reliable and prompt service within the Car Stackers industry, we have recently expanded our commercial offering to include ongoing service and maintenance to the car stacker sector. We’re looking for skilled Operations Coordinator & Service & Maintenance Technicians to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a division working with cutting-edge automated parking systems and shaping the future of urban parking solutions. Overview We have a newly created opportunity for a Operations Coordinator & Service & Maintenance Technician to join our growing team in Melbourne. This will be a supporting role to the Remedial Maintenance team & Project Managers across multiple projects through various sectors. Responsibilities and Duties Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of car stacker systems Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults Assist with new installations and system integrations Perform safety checks and compliance inspections Provide on-site technical support and emergency breakdown response Travel to various client sites for scheduled and reactive maintenance Perform inductions for clients Hands-on execution across all projects Regular site inspections for new and ongoing projects Engage with clients and tenants as required to complete works Scheduling and managing trades and sub-contractors Providing excellent customer service to all stakeholders Ensure all elements of site safety and cleanliness are adhered to Inspire and lead employees and sub-contractors with a positive drive and attitude Maintain a professional appearance at all times Communication Communicate daily with the team regarding progress, delays, WHS concerns, labour requirements and procurement Communicate program and progress to subcontractors Liaising with clients & tenants to provide updates and respond to requests Completing work order tasks with details of problems and solutions Program Assist admin coordinator in creating schedule for the project Monitor and track project & task programs Assist to update and track target program as required Ensure projects are completed on time and on budget Scheduling subcontractors allowing advanced notice to ensure sequencing Procurement Assist admin coordinators & project managers across all aspects of procurement Coordinating supplies and materials to be delivered to site, at appropriate times Hiring and Off-hiring small tools, plant and equipment as required WHS Review and implement the Quantum Commercial Solutions Health and Safety Coordination Plan Conduct Site Inductions for all employees, subcontractors, and visitors as required Review and enforce SWMS for high-risk tasks Ensure relevant PPE is worn by all personnel as applicable Hold toolbox meetings with employees and subcontractors as required Educate site workers on safety procedures to be adopted on site. Ensure strict compliance to safety standards Report accidents and incidents to the Project Manager / General Manager at the earliest possible time Ensure all OH&S policies and procedures are adhered to, including trades and suppliers meeting their obligations Skillset Experience in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic maintenance (trade qualification preferred) Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics Analytical and problem-solving skills Experience in automation systems or parking solutions (essential) Experience with software (Simpro preferred) Valid driver’s license Accountability-focused attitude Always maintain a punctual and presentable appearance Competency with MS Office applications Excellent interpersonal skills Understanding building codes, safety guidelines and regulations addressing construction projects Personal Attributes: Maintain strict confidentiality and demonstrate the following Be reliable, honest and trustworthy Be respectful and possess cultural awareness and sensitivity Demonstrate sound work ethics Possess an inclusive attitude to diversity in the workplace Commit to Quantum Commercial Solutions Environmental and Sustainable ethos The drive & willingness to succeed What we offer Competitive salary + super FMCV Excellent working conditions Collaborative team culture Brand new offices - Coburg North Professional development, career growth & exposure to multiple sectors throughout the building and construction industry You must be willing to learn, be able to act professionally and responsibly with clients, employees, subcontractors and display a proficient knowledge in all aspects of this position description. #J-18808-Ljbffr
