Roadmaster is seeking to employ an energetic and enthusiastic person to join our Operations team based in Tomago, NSW. Reporting to the Newcastle Depot Manager, the successful applicant will ensure local drivers are debriefed accurately to facilitate the efficient and safe departure of all vehicles. This position requires the successful applicant to work Monday to Friday, which will include being on call, in the yard, or by phone depending on necessity. The successful applicant must be willing to obtain a Forklift (LF) license or already hold a valid license. The duties/responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to: Effective coordination of freight and drivers Follow up with drivers throughout the day and update our system Communicating and building strong relationships with customers and drivers Warehouse duties – support warehouse staff with information The successful candidate will possess the following attributes: Previous experience in the use of Transport Management Systems Excellent written and spoken communication skills Accurate data entry and attention to detail Superior customer service and organizational skills Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously Able to effectively problem solve Roadmaster offers a culture of openness and honesty and proactively supports the personal and career development of their employees.
