About the role As an Operations Supervisor, you'll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day transport operations, managing a team of drivers, and ensuring compliance with NHVR regulatory requirements. You will play a key role in maintaining fleet efficiency, delivering excellent customer service, and rectifying issues that arise during operations. Position is based in Altona and is permanent full-time. Key Responsibilities: Effective management of the drivers on Shift. Provide operational support between operations and maintenance teams. Identifying and effectively solving any shift operational issues. Ensure compliance with NHVR laws and company policies. Ensure allocated vehicles are inspected and ready for shift allocations. Working collaboratively with our customers to ensure delays and/or service issues are communicated proactively to key stakeholders in the business. Other duties as required. Experience & Abilities required: Experience in a supervisory role within transport. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with drivers. Ability to work autonomously. Strict adherence to Health Safety and Environment procedures and practices. A sound knowledge of COR, NHVAS, transport legislation, and regulations.
