Add expected salary to your profile for insights About the role Techimac is looking for a proactive hands-on Operations Team Leader & Driver to join our team in Sunshine West, Victoria. This is a full-time position, responsible for the safe delivery and installation of highly sensitive technical equipment to our customers across the local region. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently. What you'll be doing Prioritise the safety of employees, customers and general public Ensure compliance with driver fatigue, safety and standard operating procedures Achieving overall customer satisfaction Day-to-day operations of the Victorian depot including scheduling and job allocations Toolbox talks, incident reporting & investigation, staff supervision and training Safely load, secure and unload using appropriate equipment and techniques Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks to keep the fleet, property and equipment in good condition Operate a heavy vehicle to deliver and install a wide variety of sensitive technical equipment at our customer sites as required What we're looking for Valid heavy vehicle licence and at least 2 years' experience within a similar role Computer literacy and operations systems expertise Customer service orientated Experience using scanners, tablets and specialised manual handling equipment Effective communicator at all levels Commitment to safe work practices and a proactive approach to workplace health and safety Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities Be available to travel and flexible to work varied hours including overtime as required What we offer At Techimac, we value our employees and are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment with ongoing training and development.
