Forestway Optometry is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Optical Assistant/Dispenser to join our friendly team. At Forestway Optometry, we pride ourselves on providing personalized eyecare to our community. Our practice combines advanced technology with a welcoming environment to ensure our patients feel valued and cared for. The Role As an Optical Assistant/Dispenser, your responsibilities will include: Assisting patients with frame and lens selection tailored to their needs. Advising on lens options (if qualified as a dispenser). Adjusting and repairing spectacle frames. Managing appointments and patient scheduling. Ordering and checking spectacle and contact lens jobs. Conducting pre-testing before optometrist consultations. Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient practice environment. About You We’re looking for someone who: Has optical dispensing experience or relevant optical industry experience. Is available to work rotating Saturdays and Sundays.
