Job Description
We’re looking for an Organisational Change Manager to lead a major workplace and structural transformation for Forensic Science Queensland (FSQ) as it moves from Queensland Health to the Department of Justice. This is a unique opportunity to shape people-focused change strategies , ensure workforce readiness, and support employees through a complex organisational shift. What’s in it for you? $5,472 - $5,783 per fortnight plus 12.75% employer super contribution Lead a large-scale organisational change impacting a specialist workforce. Work directly with senior leaders, HR, and stakeholders. Shape policies, structures, and people strategies in a complex transition. Flexible work arrangements, including hybrid options. About the role: Develop and implement organisational change strategies to support FSQ’s transition. Lead workforce transition planning, change impact assessments, and business readiness activities. Work closely with HR teams, senior leaders, and employees to ensure a smooth transition. Develop and deliver staff engagement, communication, and training plans to support change adoption. Identify and manage workforce risks and challenges, ensuring minimal disruption. Provide strategic HR and change management advice, using frameworks like ADKAR or PROSCI. Foster a positive workplace experience, ensuring staff feel supported and informed. Proven expertise in organisational change, HR, and workplace transition projects. Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with experience working across all levels. HR and change management knowledge, including experience with restructuring and workforce planning. A people-first mindset, focused on employee experience, culture, and business continuity. Resilience and adaptability to manage complex, high-impact change initiatives.
