About the Opportunity We’re seeking an experienced and strategic Outage Manager to take charge of the planning, execution, and close-out of complex outage events across our gas turbine and hydro power generation sites. In this critical role, you’ll ensure outages are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. As an Outage Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring our generation assets operate at peak efficiency by leading and executing large-scale planned outages. Your work will involve: Develop and implement outage strategies that align with CleanCo’s operational and business goals. Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and key stakeholders to define outage scope, milestones, risk plans, and deliverables. Ensure best-in-class procurement practices, engaging the right partners and suppliers to deliver high-quality outcomes. Manage and oversee planned and unplanned outages, ensuring they run smoothly from start to finish. Ensure strict adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards, minimising risks and disruptions. Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate site and contractor resources to maintain high efficiency and productivity. Monitor budgets and resource allocation, making strategic decisions to keep projects on track. About you Proven experience leading complex outages for gas turbines and pumped hydro power generation. Strong technical expertise in outage execution, project methodologies (PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile), and contractor management. Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and coordinate across multiple teams. A strategic mindset, with the ability to identify risks early and implement effective solutions. A commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence, ensuring CleanCo’s assets continue to perform at their best. Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Business, or Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
