About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Outbye Coordinator to join our team at Ironbark No 1 Underground Coal Mine. Reporting to the Outbye Superintendent, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling mining activities within Outbye Operations, ensuring the delivery of a safe, productive and efficient mining environment. Key Responsibilities: Establishing outbye maintenance practices to support the operation. Coordinate outbye activities to achieve planned mining, including management of contractor activity. Set, articulate and measure expectations and targets & formulate daily, weekly and 13 weekly plans in accordance with the mine's schedule. Working alongside the Electrical and Mechanical, you will develop monthly work and resource targets. Continually review and adjust the pathways to deliver operational excellence in line with legislative requirements and the annual Mine Operational Plan. Build and develop your team to ensure optimal performance and high output is achieved. Ensure that Undermanager's, Deputies and crews are carrying out the 24 hour plans by means of regular monitoring and auditing of the returned plans. Provide an on-shift focal point for the implementation of continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with safety systems, practices and behaviours. What We’re Looking For: To be successful in this role, we are seeking a candidate who is passionate about coal mining. The ideal applicant will have: Extensive experience in outbye mining. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisor capacity in an underground coal mine. ERZ Controller Certificate of Competency (Preferred) and/or Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering or related discipline. G189 (S123) & G2 Supervisor tickets. Queensland Standard 11 – Surface and Underground certification. Queensland Coal Board Medical (or willingness to obtain). A proven track record of working safely. A commitment to achieving business goals and outcomes. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. A team-oriented attitude.
