Reporting to the Group PR Manager and working closely with the Senior PR & Social Media Manager, this role offers the chance to collaborate across teams and contribute to exciting, high-impact projects. With the support of the Head of Brand & Content, you’ll play a key part in shaping campaigns that engage and inspire Westfield customers. About the Role: The PR & Social Media Manager role sits within the Marketing & Community team under Brand & Content, working collaboratively with key teams across the business, including Retail Partnerships, Community, and Corporate Affairs. This position focuses on delivering earned media and influencer strategies for the Westfield portfolio across Australia and New Zealand, driving impactful communication and engagement with target consumer audiences. Day-to-day responsibilities include: Guide implementation of best practices for earned media and influencer strategy, with a focus on driving impactful destination marketing, retailer openings, cultural and community initiatives, while providing strategic support for broader campaigns. Foster collaboration with destination marketing teams, internal stakeholders across divisions, and external partners, including retail collaborators, ensuring alignment and seamless execution of initiatives. Support destination teams and the wider business in managing customer communications and issues resolution, including recommending strategic approaches, assisting with copywriting, and securing stakeholder endorsement for communications materials. What sets you apart: 5+ years’ previous consumer marketing or PR experience. Understanding of PR, social media and influencer activity, with experience in these disciplines preferred. Excellent communication and strong stakeholder management skills. Strong attention to detail, writing and proofreading skills, from press releases to customer communications.
