About the role The Principal Financial Accountant is responsible for the planning, delivery and evaluation of financial accounting programs, projects and services that ensure TAFE SA financial requirements and reporting meet TAFE SA and Department of Treasury and Finance requirements. The role partners with Shared Services SA and provides technical advice, expertise and training to TAFE SA management and staff regarding accounting standards, financial policies and Treasurer’s Instructions. The Principal Financial Accountant leads the preparation of TAFE SA’s annual financial statements and ensures that TAFE SA’s financial policies and procedures, annual financial statements and other financial compliance reporting meets both TAFE SA and external requirements. Special Conditions The successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed.
