Reporting to the Paddy’s Team Leader at Flemington, this role is critical to the successful operation of our Friday to Sunday markets. With strong customer service skills, you will assist an experienced team of 8 Market Officers at the Flemington Market site, Friday through Sunday. From working with stallholders, managing safety of customers on site, assisting the team leader and so much more, this role has variety galore. Key Responsibilities Provide on-site customer service with our visitors and proactively communicate with our vendors. Manage and contribute to a clean, safe environment for the market users and customers. Successful onboarding of new Paddy’s tenants. Proactively identify areas of opportunity to improve our site. Audit the assigned marketplace area. In partnership with Finance, assist in rent collection. Enjoy working in a retail environment from Friday to Sunday. Update and engage stakeholders via regular reports. Skills & Experience Required Demonstrated experience in a customer service role with strong customer focus and commitment to service excellence. Excellent communication skills with a collaborative approach to work and ability to seamlessly join an established and hard-working team. Strong negotiation skills with a passion for problem solving and overcoming obstacles. Forklift certificate and WHS (Workplace Health & Safety) knowledge is an advantage.
