About the Royal Flying Doctor Service South Australia / Northern Territory (RFDS SA/NT) We are trusted leaders in providing aeromedical and primary health care services to people in remote, rural and regional locations across South Australia and the Northern Territory. About this Opportunity Reporting directly to the Executive General Manager, Medical and Retrieval Services, you will research and develop a suite of recommendations that ensures readiness of the organisation for future service delivery models, inclusive of a paramedic workforce. Specifically, you will: Review and analyse current clinical guidelines and procedures to determine viability of potential opportunities. Undertake a review of national approaches to regulatory approvals for Paramedic drug licensing for ambulance services. Review, interpret and update clinical guidelines in aeromedicine with a specific focus on flight nursing, ambulance operations and remote area clinics. About You You are: Knowledgeable of policies, legislation and regulations regarding paramedicine scope of practice across Australia. Experienced in coordinating projects with knowledge and experience including scope management, risk and issue management, and stakeholder management. A skilled problem solver in a high pressure and time sensitive environment. Detail oriented with demonstrated computer literacy. To be considered for the role you require: A bachelor’s degree in science – Paramedicine or equivalent. Minimum 3 years' experience as a paramedic in Australia. An unrestricted SA drivers’ licence.
