The picturesque town of Grantville, located less than 90 minutes from Melbourne and only 30 minutes to popular Phillip Island, is home to the over 55’s community of Frenchview Lifestyle Village, a stone’s throw from the shores of Western Port Bay. Consisting of approximately 100 homes and 4 motel units, Frenchview is a quiet, peaceful village and home to a community of like-minded individuals. The village is owned by a private funds management firm focused on the affordable accommodation sector and currently supporting a large portfolio of caravan parks in Victoria and interstate. The experienced, approachable Directors are personally involved with each property. Position Overview As the Park Manager (or management couple if you wish to share the role with your partner), you will be responsible for continuing the growth and success of this community, including all operational activities, with a focus on providing a positive experience for residents. You will enjoy great variety in your role which includes office management (office is open 3 half days per week) as well as being hands-on in grounds and maintenance. Qualifications To be considered for this position, you will have: Previous experience in park management or managing an accommodation-based business Office administration and operation skills Project management experience beneficial Understanding of financial drivers and the sales cycle process Attention to detail ensuring lease agreements and new home contracts are issued correctly Mediation and conflict resolution skills Ability to enforce the rules of the community in a “firm but fair” manner Initiative and motivation Ability to problem solve and fix things; some trades / handyman skills would be ideal Enjoy being hands-on and working outdoors – mowing, groundskeeping, pool maintenance, cleaning of common areas and taking pride in the presentation of the community Job Details This role is a live-in position and a 2 bedroom/ 2 bathroom furnished residence is provided which includes an outdoor area. Working to a roster with a minimal after-hours component, an attractive salary package including superannuation and sales bonuses is offered.
