Job Description Ozlanka Nominees Pty Ltd T/as Brumbys Alice Springs require a Pastry Chef/Cook.Salary: $63,000 - $70,000Duties: Applicants should have an excellent knowledge of baking cakes and pastry making techniques. Maintaining Quality and Consistency including: Masking and decorating cakes. Measuring and mixing of ingredients. Follow production/recipe sheets. Finishing and packaging of products. Cleaning and wash up of production and other areas. Glaze buns and pastries. Other occasional tasks related to your role. Qualifications and Experience: Cert III or IV in Pastry or Commercial Cookery. Minimum 2 years in a similar role. Demonstrated understanding of the Food Safety Program and Legislative requirements (OSH, Fire/Evacuation, Infection Control). Excellent interpersonal and time management skills. Pride in the quality of the pastry food that is produced. Must be well presented and a reliable team player but also efficient when working independently. Ability to communicate effectively with management and customers.
