Job Description We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Pastry Cook to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baking and pastry preparation, a keen eye for precision, and a passion for creating visually stunning and delicious desserts. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, where attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines are key to success. A full-time opportunity is available for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, tarts, and other desserts following our recipes and quality standards. Ensure consistency and high quality in all baked goods while adhering to food safety and hygiene standards. Decorate pastries and desserts with creativity and meticulous attention to detail. Monitor ingredient inventory and assist with ordering and restocking as needed. Collaborate with the team to develop new recipes, seasonal offerings, and creative plating ideas. Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring all equipment and tools are in excellent condition. Follow and uphold health and safety regulations in the kitchen. Qualifications Proven experience as a pastry cook or similar role in a bakery or patisserie. Strong knowledge of pastry techniques and equipment. Creativity and a passion for pastry arts and dessert presentation. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays. A culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus but not mandatory.
