We are currently seeking applications for Patient Service Assistants to provide care, support and cleaning (ward and discharge) within a multi-disciplinary team in a hospital or health care environment. Casual day and evening shifts available in the Mandurah area. What is involved in this role? Assisting patients with performing basic tasks such as eating, dressing and toileting when necessary Provide mobility services which include patient transfer via wheelchair, patient trolley or bed Work with the hospital food services department to provide patient meal delivery service Engage in housekeeping tasks such as replacing linens on beds, cleaning patient rooms and removing and replacing trash bags Cleaning using hospital strength cleaning agents required to meet hospital infection control standards Required to work shift work Ability to work autonomously and within a multi-disciplinary team The ideal candidate will have: Excellent interpersonal communication skills National Police Clearance or NDIS Worker Screening Check Current Working with Children Check Criminal Clearance Record Screen (or willing to obtain) Evidence of COVID-19 vaccinations and current Influenza vaccination As a valued employee you will receive: Generous employee discounts available at various retailers and services!
