Your New Role: As a Patient Transport Officer , you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality Non-Emergency Patient Transport (NEPT) services, primarily working out of the Wahroonga region on Sydney’s North Shore. This role offers full-time or part-time opportunities , with 10-hour shifts scheduled mainly on weekdays. You’ll work in a supportive environment where your commitment to patient care and ability to work effectively in small teams will thrive in a structured and rewarding setting. What You Can Expect: Dynamic Work Schedules : Enjoy flexibility with shifts generally structured around 10 hours on weekdays , offering a consistent and balanced routine. While the focus is on weekday availability, occasional adjustments may be required to meet operational needs, ensuring variety and adaptability in your role. Safety First : Maintain readiness by ensuring vehicles and equipment are always in top condition. Attention to Detail : Deliver excellent patient care while keeping accurate and confidential records. What You’ll Bring Previous experience in pre-hospital care. Qualifications: Certificate 3 in NEPT , Diploma in Emergency Healthcare , or registration as a paramedic (without conditions). Compliance ready, including: Working With Children Check and National Police Check (within 6 months). Clean driving record and unrestricted driver’s license. First Aid/CPR certification and mask fit certificate. Full Category A immunizations , including an annual flu shot. Light Rigid (LR) Heavy Vehicle License preferred—or willingness to obtain one.
