Penetration Tester Specialists - Canberra – Perth /Adelaide /Brisbane /Melbourne Position: Penetration Tester Specialists (12 months extendable contract role) Work Locations: Canberra – Perth – Adelaide – Brisbane - Melbourne Job Summary: Seeking an experienced Penetration Tester to lead complex penetration testing and vulnerability assessment activities, analyzing IT systems to identify weaknesses and simulate cyberattacks. The role includes developing methodologies, providing expert insights, and supporting stakeholders to strengthen security posture. Key Responsibilities: Conduct and oversee penetration tests, vulnerability assessments, and threat simulations. Develop and execute security testing plans and evaluate technical risks. Provide technical insights and recommendations to system owners to improve security. Mentor junior team members and support skill transfer through training. Create detailed penetration test reports, outlining vulnerabilities and remediation actions. Key Skills & Experience: Proven experience in web application penetration testing across technologies (e.g., Java, NodeJS, SAP). Expertise with tools like Nmap, Nessus, Burp Suite, Metasploit, and Active Directory testing utilities. Strong report-writing skills and ability to develop risk assessments. Experience with enterprise platforms, mobile penetration testing, and collaboration with system owners on remediation. NV1 security clearance.
