Job Description

We are hiring a Senior Penetration Tester to work hands-on and provide leadership to a cybersecurity team within a federal government agency. You will be working in a hybrid Azure cloud environment, with a mix of Linux and Windows on-prem systems, managing, executing and providing reports on penetration tests for medium to large software apps, IT systems and networks. This is a contract position lasting an initial 12 months with up to 2x 12 month extensions, working on-site in Canberra. You must have a minimum of Baseline or NV1 security clearance, therefore requiring Australian citizenship. We are happy to discuss your expectations for daily/hourly rates for this contract, as the client has asked us to research market rates. Key requirements: Experience as a Senior Penetration Tester providing leadership to a red team, managing the end to end pen testing process. Experience working in a Windows and Linux environment, ideally also with Azure cloud environment experience but not essential. Proficient in identifying and exploiting web app and network security vulnerabilities. Previous experience in Federal Government will be preferred, particularly for process and reporting purposes.
