The People Partner Manager reports directly to the General Manager People Operations. The Star Sydney offers an opportunity to partner with property Senior leaders to support the effective implementation of the People Strategy. You will be the face of the People Partnerships team at our Star Sydney property, providing coaching to leaders on core people initiatives and the best approach to access services across People Operations. This is a fantastic opportunity where you will lead your own portfolio and play a pivotal role in the development of property leadership and their capability to meet our obligations to regulatory and governance requirements. A few of your responsibilities: Embrace collaboration with property leaders to deliver a consistent, efficient, and proactive strategic people agenda aligned with business strategy and goals. Partner closely with each leader to ensure that the People Operations agenda is a priority and that the solutions meet the unique needs of their department. Prioritise and partner in building financially sound recommendations across all aspects of People Operations that address both the immediate and the long-term needs. Understand the root cause of leadership needs and gather insights on behalf of the People Operations team to inform the design and rollout of department initiatives. Coach, develop and empower leaders to perform as leaders, in addition to educating leaders particularly on the People Operating model. What we are looking for: Proven work experience in a People Advisory/Partnering role, noting experience in a hospitality and/or highly regulated environment will be highly regarded. Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Psychology or Organisational Development. Strong relationship, coaching, influencing and communication skills to build capability and performance of leadership teams. Demonstrated business partnership experience, driven by a self-starter mindset and an unwavering can-do attitude.
