Patane Produce is a well-established, privately owned & operated Vegetable Growing & Packing business located in the Myalup area in the Southwest region of Western Australia. The role is a permanent full-time or part-time position, pivotal within our small operational management team to assist and ensure efficient operations of the business in conjunction with the Directors. We are looking for a true generalist human resource professional who possesses quality assurance methodologies, understands the nature and wide scope of responsibilities that are often required in the processing of food and export operations. Business graduates are welcome to apply. HR Responsibilities All aspects of local & international recruitment, screening, reference checking, employment contracts, visa status, mobilisation, induction, and onboarding. Provide timely and professional advice to Directors and Supervisors. Deliver a high level of proactive and reactive support, and coaching to line leaders in the areas of employee relations and performance development. Ongoing support for international employees and trainees/apprentices. Working and understanding different cultures and providing pastoral care to sponsored workers. Compliance Responsibilities Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and protocols. Provide advice, support, and coaching to line leaders and workers in the areas of quality assurance requirements and food hygiene practices. Contemporary knowledge on relevant industry standards and HR best practice trends.
