Personal Care and Domestic Assistant Workers - Victor Harbor, SA Are you passionate about helping others and making a real difference in your community? We’re looking for dedicated Support Workers (with their own ABN) to provide care and assistance to the Aged Care and NDIS community in the Victor Harbor region in South Australia. You tell us your services, set your own rate, and tell us when you are available, placing you in total control of your work. We’ll help you with everything you need to succeed in growing your own business so you can offer your chosen services to the Clients (we call them Members) you wish to support in your local area. About the Opportunity Visits will include the following services: Domestic Assistance - e.g., cleaning, cooking, laundry, shopping Personal Care - e.g., showering, dressing, medication assistance, manual handling Companionship - e.g., providing company through friendships, interests, and activities Driving and Community Access - e.g., driving to appointments, shops, outings if needed. There will also be other opportunities in the area! What is needed to apply for this opportunity? Your own ABN as an Independent Contractor (or prepared to obtain one) A successful National Police Check issued within the past 2.5 years OR a current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or prepared to obtain one) Certificate III in Aged Care/Disabilities/Individual Support or higher (or studying) will be highly regarded Full training and assessment can be provided for personal care, manual handling, and basic medication support to suitable applicants. Driver’s License and own vehicle Smartphone to use the Five Good Friends app, Lookout. What's in it for you?
